Let me see, most of the time i speak only Mandarin regardless family, friends even colleagues. Well, i have no choice to communicate in english when it comes towards talking thru phone.
Nevertheless, i still feel as a chinese, talk with the dialect and mandarin will be better. What i meant here is we feel closer.
As for english, no offence, but yet i feel it is too 'formal'. Maybe i have always in my mind that, english is an international language. That's why the word FORMAL came across mindset.
hehe... shuang leh?? i also felt tat...it's really important fer us to communicate using english during tuition classes... but those topic is getting tougher and tougher... so gotta gambateh lor... let's say if one day we all speak english in durah...wat'll happen???
